Q When do you meet?

A On wednesday evenings during term time from 7.30pm to 9.30pm

Q Where do you meet?

A We meet at St Andrews Methodist Church, Corner of Pershore Road and Cartland Road, Stirchley B'ham B30 2RD every Wednesday at 7.30pm - 9.30 during term times. The church has its own car park and is well served by public transport – bus numbers 45 and 47 run regularly from Corporation Street and stop 1 minute away on the Pershore Road outside the 'Ten Pin Bowling Alley'. Bournville train station is a 10-15 minute walk. Click here for a map.

Q Do I have to pay?

A The come along and give it try drop-in fee is £7.50 or £5.50 for concessions. If you would like to join the termly fee is £75 or £45 for concessions. This is a 12 week term rolling programme / course so payments can be made in two or three payments or come along to try it out for the drop in fee. If you are on a low income please let us know because we will do our best to assist you.

Q What do you get for your membership?

A For your membership you get a 12 week term which includes an easy, de-stressing physical warm up which includes; vocal coaching including dedicated sectional rehearsals to get the best out of the voices along with performance technique to build confidence; access to rehearsal materials through the Members section of the website; a dedicated KTC communication email system; many opportunities to perform in all sorts of projects & events in all types of environments, plus the opportunity to have workshops delivered by other specialists & natural voice practitioners at various times throughout the year.

Q Do I have to audition?

A No! Turn up. Join in. If it goes well, keep coming. Your voice will get stronger and sound better with regular practice.

Q What if I think I'm tone deaf and can't hold a tune?

A It hasn't happened yet, but if it were so, Jackie will be able to help & advise you.

Q I don't know if I'm a Soprano / Alto / Tenor / Bass or I DO know I'm none of these because my voice does not have a great range.

A It doesn't matter! You sing with those whose voices are in your range, switch if you want (we do). On most songs we adjust the key to make it comfortable for all of us as a group to sing.
